The DJI Pocket 2 Creators Edition is great but when filming some find it difficult to get the kind of hand control they like. When finished filming the case does most of its job to protect the Pocket 2 but the do-it-all handle is not protected at all. It's often on the way to or from filming that drops often occur when there's no case to protect it!
With this in mind, we designed this new case so that it could still provide good protection while filming as well as elsewhere with its side protection bumpers that help protect it from those common tabletop topples from knocks and bumps.
The cap has also been redesigned to be secure while being easily removed with a 90-degree twist.
The new DJI Pocket 2 Pro Creators Case has four 1/4- 20 attachment points. Look inside and you’ll see the inside has rubber bumper material to gently protect your Pocket 2 from rub points and scratches that you get from cheap unlined cases.
For filming with the cap off, the top section gives you a protective bumper to mostly protect the Osmo Pocket while filming.
When you're finished filming the rubber-lined cap gently holds your Pocket 2 even with a filter or wide-angle lens on - all locked down! The Pocket 2 Pro Creators Case is a beast just like its Pocket 1 predecessor but its monoblock construction makes it far stronger.
This new case has a much more ergonomic grip width together with ergonomic grooves for an easy grip in the left or right hand. When using a firm grip your forearm muscles lock and this helps prevent some of the micro-movements that that are commonly found with this light camera.
Note: The pictures shown are of a pre-production model that has two small brass inserts near the very top on each side that are not in the final version for sale.
These cases are great on their own but make one heck of a filming rig when used with the Micro Pro 2 - 4th axis stabiliser and a counterweight set. The Micro Pro 2 uses the popular ¼-20 attachment so it can be used with other cameras such as GoPros, Osmo Action, Insta360 and Vuse too.
There are 3 sound pipes on the front and both sides so that all mics can still record audio in the case. Preliminary testing has shown that the audio seems to be improved over no case - we think the sound pipes must improve the acoustics reaching the mic.
