Stabilize your DJI Pocket 2 with small tripod base with a pocket size Z-Axis specifically designed with a non-adjustable custom spring made specifically to perfectly balance the Pocket 2 with small tripod base.
We have quite a few powerful and versatile Micro 4th Axis so this time we decided to embrace simplicity in a design that needs no adjustment - it just works! Just attach the Pocket 2 with small tripod base and go!
Not only that but it's now significantly smaller than the original and only slightly bigger than the DJI case.
We all know what an amazing piece of kit the DJI Pocket 2 is - and it all fits easily in a pocket with space for more!
But this extreme lightness is actually its 'Achilles Heel'!
With virtually no weight there's none of the typical resistance that assists us in keeping our arm steady. Take a look around at YouTube reviews of the Pocket and as soon as the reviewer starts walking you'll see the characteristic bobbing motion.
We've got plenty of experience making 4th Axis or Z-Axis stabilizers for bigger rigs so we knew we could come up with a great solution that not only worked great but was also still pocket-able. After many prototypes, we've been able to craft a solution that exceeded all our expectations and we're so excited to share it with you!
We used the K.I.S.S Principle (Keep it simple stupid)
Simplicity is the key with our latest Micro 4th axis in case. Customers liked that the original was a case and a 4th axis in one.
But it wasn't as pocketable as we wanted and many customers just wanted it to work without any adjustments so we went back to the drawing board and crafted our most convenient 4th Axis ever!
It's only a little bigger than the original DJI Case so now there's no reason to leave it behind.
We've packed so much into this simple little package:-
It has one brass and one Alloy 1/4-20 attachment point for attaching to gear like a pack strap mount and more!
A handy and comfortable wrist strap means less worry while you're shooting
Why not put your Pocket 2 Micro 4th Axis on the end of a Mono-pod for those faux crane shots or to discreetly get above the crowd in a show!
A belt/pants clip on the back lets you put it somewhere without it needing a pocket
It offers good protection from day to day use but please try to avoid sitting on it!
Note: As this 4th axis design is simplified and miniaturised, you will need to take a little extra care with it when using it. It's not like our ruggedised Micro Pro 2, but with normal usage, it will be just fine. Just don't sit on it with the 4th axis extended!
Just as you wouldn't leave your expensive Pocket 2 in a car on a hot day, don't do the same with your Pocket 2 - 4th Axis in Case. Extreme heat can cause permanent deformation.
