The SR (Sealed Road) Cheeseplate Mounts are designed to work with the Glider Pro 3 eco-system.

These are designed so that you can customise your own rig (such as car bonnet, body-mounted or bike mounts) with the alternating 1/4 and 3/8ths through holes (6mm and 10mm) that are 2 inches (50mm) apart. It also has a locking thumbscrew as well.

Each Cheeseplate comes with an axial rosette mount, locking bolt and Allen key. A brass threaded insert is built into the Cheeseplate rosette to receive the locking bolt.

We have over-engineered this mount well and truly but please follow the precautions below:

Caution:

Caution:

  • Please bare in mind that the SR stands for 'Sealed Road' and it shouldn't be used on dirt roads, off-road or any situation where significant shocks are being transmitted through to the mount.
  • Be careful not to over-tighten your own bolts as these can apply enough pressure to damage the mount. First tighten lightly and then mount your rig to it and then gently pull on the gimbal to see if the mount will move easily. Continue doing this until a force of over 10kg (22pounds) is needed to budge the mount.
  • Always secure your rig with a separate safety line to protect it in case of catastrophic failure.
  • When not in use we suggest avoiding excessive UV light and inclement weather as this will reduce the strength of the mount.
